 Shapla Bangladeshi Culture Club of Greater Kansas City (ShaplaKC), legally registered as Shapla Culture Club, is a community‑driven nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and preserving Bangladeshi culture, language, and heritage in the Kansas City metro area. We bring families together through cultural events, educational programs, youth initiatives, and community‑building activities that strengthen our shared identity. Beyond serving our local community, we are committed to supporting poverty‑alleviation efforts in Bangladesh and empowering those in need. ShaplaKC is a welcoming home for anyone who values culture, connection, and compassion. 

 We envision a vibrant, united, and empowered Bangladeshi community in Greater Kansas City—one that honors its heritage, uplifts every generation, and contributes meaningfully to society. ShaplaKC strives to be a leading cultural institution that inspires learning, fosters connection, and extends compassion both locally and globally. Through culture, service, and community leadership, we aim to build a future where culture and humanity flourish together. 

 ShaplaKC was founded to be an all‑inclusive community home where every Bangladeshi family—especially young families—can find connection and opportunity. Guided by independent, democratic leadership, we remain open to anyone who wants to serve and help shape our community’s future. With deep ties to our heritage, we also support poverty‑relief efforts in Bangladesh, extending compassion beyond Kansas City. ShaplaKC continues to grow as a place where culture, community, and service come together.
